Blick auf die Abtei Marienmünster. Das ehemalige Benediktinerkloster liegt in Nordrhein-Westfahlen. Erbaut wurde es 1127 bis 1128 durch Graf Widekind I. von Schwalenberg. Im Jahr 1803 wurde das Kloster aufgelöst, doch seit 1965 leben dort die Passionisten. Während des 30jährigen Krieges wurde das Kloster weitgehend zerstört, doch im Jahr 1661 wieder Aufgebaut, mehrere Umbauten führten dazu, dass das Gebäude sowohl romanische, barocke als auch gotische Elemente besitzt.
