Blick auf die Altstadt von Güstrow in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Die Stadt führt seit 2006 offiziell den Namenszusatz Barlachstadt, benannt nach dem berühmten Bildhauer, Schriftsteller und Zeichner Ernst Barlach, der seit 1910 in Güstrow lebte. Die Altstadt ist für ihre Backsteingebäude bekannt und ist ein beliebtes Tourismusziel. Berühmte Sehenswürdigkeiten sind das Schloss Güstrow, die Pfarrkirche St. Marien, der Güstrower Dom und das Güstrower Rathaus.
