Blick auf die Burg Ronneburg. Erbaut wurde die Höhenburg im 13. Jahrhundert auf einem Basaltkegel. Besonders bemerkenswert ist der 96 m tiefe Brunnenschacht und der 30 m hohe Bergfried. Dieser wird heute als Aussichtsturm genutzt, innerhalb der Burganlage befindet sich ein Museum und eine Restaurant.
