Blick auf die Marienkirche in der Stadt Weißenfels an der Saale, die zur "Kirche des Jahres 2000" im Land Sachsen-Anhalt erklärt wurde. Die spätgotische dreischiffige Hallenkirche wurde im 14. Jahrhundert erbaut, der Turmaufbau wurde nach einem Stadtbrand 1718 im Barockstil ergänzt.
