Der große Zittauer Bahnhof zeigt sich in einem schönen klassizistischen Stil. Der Hauptbahnhof Zittau wurde im Jahr 1859 eröffnet und im Jahr 2001 umfangreich saniert. Außerdem ist der Bahnhof seit 1890 Ausgangspunkt der Zittau-Oybin-Jonsdorfer-Eisenbahn (ZOJE), auch bekannt als 'Zittauer Schmalspurbahn'.
