Castle Növernich in Növernich in the Düren district of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The castle is located on site of the former fortress Gymnich, a water fortress surrounded by a water ditch. The castle was frequented by artists and musicians and is Wolfgang Gerberely owned today. It is home to the Museum European Art and is event location for civial weddings
